Today In History



2nd March, 1965: The movie version of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical "The Sound of Music" starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer in the lead roles, has its world premiere in New York.

I have Christopher Plummer's book about himself to read... but it is sooooo long and the print is soooo tiny! Needless to say, haven't read it. Julie Andrews has a book out too but the most recent review I saw of it was a DNF. Not something I want to rush out and read.
