Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesday is hosted by Should Be Reading. Here's how you play:

* Grab your current read.
* Let the book fall open to a random page.
* Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
* You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
* Please avoid spoilers!

My teaser:
We had decided to breakfast in our room, for the sake of greater privacy and also because Emerson did not want to get dressed to go downstairs. His shirt was open at the throat and his sleeves had been pushed up to the elbows, the sight of him lounging at ease, long legs stretched out, a pipe in one hand and a pen in the other, almost distracted me from the matter at hand.

Cute teaser! I read my first Elizabeth Peters book last year and really enjoyed it. This one sounds good, too.

I do so love Emerson and these books are so much fun! And wait until you get to the books where Ramses are all grown up! Yum!

My favorite series! [I like Ramses better than his father though :P]

Good teaser!

Thank you for dropping by mine :)!
