This slump is starting to tick me off!

Enough already! I want something good to read. Something that will help me get out of this slump. I haven't had a slump that lasted this long. I pick up a book read a couple of chapters and put it back down. I even tried reading the kids books. Miss S has been reading the Warrior series by Erin Hunter, but a group of talking cats doesn't do it for me (at the moment). Master K just started Frindle by Andrew Clements and although I thought the first couple of chapters were interesting, I quickly lost interest in the book. I'm truly in a pathetic state... I'm desperate!

OK, I'm not just pimpin' category romance cuz I love it - but I really like "short" when I'm in a slump. Usually it's an attention span thing for me. Anywho....

I read a really great HSR recently (February book) - His Wife For One Night by Molly O'Keefe. Review over at my place....probably towards bottom of page now.....

Also, maybe an audiobook?

Or you could do a reread of a favourite book?

If you like suspense/thriller type books James Patterson, et al are quick reads with their short chapters.
