Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesday is hosted by Should Be Reading. Here's how you play:

* Grab your current read.
* Let the book fall open to a random page.
* Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
* You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
* Please avoid spoilers!

Teaser # 1:
You don't say, said Mr Zephyr.
I do say.
And how did you come by this talent? asked Mrs Zephyr.
Ambrose shrugged.
Indeed, said his father.
Ambrose's face began to glow.

Teaser # 2:
"...and Saturday afternoon at Sir William Lucas", Miss Bingley ticked off the last name on her list and looked up to see her brother brighten considerably. "Is this acceptable, Charles?"

Teaser # 3:
Windows were opening; heads in nightcaps were poking out of them and shouting down questions; people in the street were shouting back answers. A great many people seemed to be hurrying in the same direction as Captain Gilbrey's carriage.
