I'm still reading A Passage to India but I've also started a new book, and that's where my teaser is coming from this time around.

Here's my teaser:

Finn pulled me to a park bench set on a grassy lawn surrounding the courthouse, a private spot nestled between two mature crepe myrtles. He sat down, but he didn't relax, his long body folded into uncomfortable angles on the hard iron bench.
