Booking Through Thursday on Friday

Saw this over at Marg's blog and it looked like fun, so I'm giving it a shot.

This week's Booking Through Thursday question is:

Quick! It’s an emergency! You just got an urgent call about a family emergency and had to rush to the airport with barely time to grab your wallet and your passport. But now, you’re stuck at the airport with nothing to read. What do you do??

And, no, you did NOT have time to grab your book bag, or the book next to your bed. You were . . . grocery shopping when you got the call and have nothing with you but your wallet and your passport (which you fortuitously brought with you in case they asked for ID in the ethnic food aisle). This is hypothetical, remember….

I'm always prepared. Yes, a little anal. I always carry a book with me in my purse. I also have an audio book on my Ipod. And I have several in the car, one in glove compartment and a small bag in the trunk. You just don't know when you'll need a reading break.

Okay, in a rush and if I didn't have one on me, I would buy some at the airport.

Glad you decided to join in! I would totally have to buy a new book. The likelihood of me not having one in my possession already though is remote!

That's pretty much what I said as well - except that I am unlikely to have a book - more likely to have some knitting with me. Hmm should have thought to put that in my post actually *g*
