I've read one or two in each group so it's possible (but not likely) I might already have read all the finalists. Which would be nice, as I like to follow along and make my own informed choice. I was happy to see so many classics make it so far. Every year that such books are in the finals, someone will ask "what's the point when everyone's already read it?" but this proves that the general public still supports their presence on the show. My only disappointment in the top 5s was the absence of Michael Crummey's Galore.
