Library Loot

Library Loot is a weekly event that is co-hosted by Marg and Eva.
...encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries.

The first loot of the new year. This loot is full of recommendations I've taken from the wide blog world...okay I lay all the blame on the ladies of Historical Tapestry. ;)

Here's my loot:

Eragon by Christopher Paolini, which I'll be reading for a challenge.

Another read for a challenge, but Something, Maybe by Elizabeth Scott sounds good.

I'm reading Eve: A Novel of the First Woman by Elissa Elliott for my "E" entry for Historical Tapestry's The Alphabet Historical Fiction challenge.

A just because read. I love Sue-Ellen Wellfonder.

The Sweethearts' Knitting Club by Lori Wilde was recommended by a friend.

You Had Me at Good-bye by Tracey Bateman is being read for a challenge.

Another just because...

Both The Swan Maiden and The Winter Sea were recommended by Marg. They both sound interesting and can't wait to get to them...

I've seen Cleopatra's Daughter by Michelle Moran in several places, and I just had to place a hold on it.

You can join in the fun by visiting here.

Oh, the pressure is on! I fully expect you to like Swan Maiden a lot, and to love The Winter Sea! Cleopatra's Daughter is good too!

My initial comment was going to be look at you being all organised and reading for E already! I know what I am doing for D, but haven't really thought about E yet. Obviously need to get cracking.

Enjoy your loot!

I loved Cleopatra's Daughter. Michelle Moran is one of my new favorites. I read a Sue-Ellen Wellfonder book last year and really enjoyed it. Not my usual reading but a fun book. Love the cover of Eve.
