The book had the usual fast pace that I enjoy. I like the way the chapters are short and straight to the point.
It was nice to see the ladies again. I especially enjoyed Cindy's storyline. Actually I enjoyed it more than the high-profile murder. And I like that she and Rich are together. I didn't care for the way Lindsay reacted the news. I thought that she was behaving like a child, it was ridiculous. Now, Yuki's relationship with Doc, I liked seeing her having life away from work. And I was blown away when Doc made his confession about his past, never saw that one coming.
I wonder what will happen next?

I'm caught up on this series too. I felt bad for Yuki. Thought she got the short straw this book!
I agree that Cindy's storyline was more interesting than the high-profile murder. I wanted to smack Lindsay and remind her of her own great guy! LOL
It's up to eight? I need to get reading. I am still just at book five. I wouldn't say I love this series, but I do enjoy it. :)
