Library Loot

Library Loot is a weekly event that is co-hosted by Marg and Eva.

I absolutely love my local library, they have great staff, wonderful programs for children and their selection is varied and they're always looking for suggestions on improvement. I visit them every week. Yep, a few employees know me by name. So, this meme is right up my alley.

I actually made a pit stop there yesterday. I had an absurd amount of books waiting for me on the hold shelf. I'm afraid that I bit off more than I can chew...

Here's what came home with me:

You can join the fun here.

I got an e-mail saying How To Buy A Love Of Reading was now available for me - but alas, it ain't in my office. I wonder if the cataloging staff down the hall is holding it hostage :)

I ordered a bunch of copies of the Hale for work. It looks like it could be a bit hit with the summer reading crowd.

I've been curious about How to Buy a Love of Reading! I love the cover of A Ginle Thread. And The Book of Negroes is on my TBR list.

I just finished reading a Tasha Alexander novel myself, and I am a big Lisa Kleypas fan.

I have borrowed Book of Negroes before but never managed to read it. I really should borrow it again.

How to Buy a Love of Reading sounds as though it could be an interesting read.
